I know this was put up a year ago, but the way to go into a date, without putting up a front or pretending like your someone else. My advice, is go in thinking of it like your talking to an old friend. Someone you haven’t talked to since you were 10 years old, and you want to talk to about your passions and your life, and you want to know about yours, but someone who knows you and is okay with you being yourself

This was actually immensely cathartic to hear. I have body dysmorphia and have multiple ED tendencies and to hear that these guys who I would consider so attractive feel how I feel about how they look really validates that how I'm feeling is real when I doubt my entire existence sometimes. Thanks guys, genuinely. I'm in one of the best dance colleges in the world right now and having to see myself in a leotard everyday hurts a lot cuz I dont "look like a dancer" but not anymore. Yeah , it's easier said than done but my body can do a lot of things that most people can't do so im going to promise from right now, im gonna try my best to look at the best parts of myself while still acknowledging the bad but not letting them control my life. If anyone reading this is like me, let's do this together, from 1 Nov 2020, im gonna workout everyday and eat healthy until the new year and then hopefully I'll be in a healthy habit and keep the streak going (obviously apart from Xmas/Holidays etc.) and that way, my health will improve and weight loss will happen but im not going to do my best not to obsess over the number (but no promises on that one). Let's do this!!!

Damien's story reminds about how I fell off playground equipment and told multiple teachers about how my head felt weird and I thought I had a concussion. I didn't go to the nurse till hours later where they told me I was fine and sent my back to class. After a bus ride home my mom took me to the doctor and I had a concussion. That same week was PSSA week so I had to take the test while being concussed. My mother was not pleased.
